Civil partnership receptions at Halswell House normally begin with Guest Welcome Drinks and non-alcoholic alternatives for children in The Justice Room.
Ceremony
Halswell House is licensed for Civil Ceremonies.
Drinks and Canapés
Whilst photographs and other civil partnership formalities are completed guests are invited to enjoy drinks and canapés in the Chintz Room and Ballroom.

Civil Partnership Toasts and Speeches
Civil Partnership speeches would normally take place at the end of the meal accompanied with Toasts - the following is the usual order of proceedings:
The partners cut the cake, during, or after the celebration breakfast.
Toast to 'The happy couple', this is normally proposed by one of the partner's close family or friend.
Evening Reception
The evening reception is a popular addition to the civil partnership ceremony and breakfast that may appeal to both you and your guests.
