Ceremonies
A number of options are available for you to solemnise your union and once you've made your choice your civil partnership coordinator will happily work with you to create your day. Three rooms within Halswell House are licensed to perform civil partnership unions and the ceremony will be conducted by two registrars from the local authority. The first floor Ball Room will seat approx 110 guests and the ground floor Morning Room can hold 60 seated guests comfortably. The ground floor Dining Room will seat 120 guests and is suitable for disabled access should it be needed. These numbers are based on using standard size wedding chairs. For other options please call us to discuss.
Guest Arrivals
As your guests arrive they will be invited to congregate in the historic Justice Room. A small bar will be available next to the room to offering them refreshments prior to the actual ceremony.
Music during Ceremony
Should you wish to have music within your chosen ceremony room, either before, during or immediately after the ceremony, then the Registrar must be advised of this by you and your partner in advance. We are happy to recommend musicians, harpist and string quartets. Please click on The Halswell Experience for further details.
