Guy Fawkes Night - 3rd November 2010 - Ticket Event
Once again Halswell lights up the sky for the annual Guy Fawkes Night celebration. As in previous years we will be hosting St Margaret's Hospice fundraising team and the Ball Room will be given over to story-telling in the grand manner together with ghostly appearances from Sir Nicholas and Lady Brigett of Tudor times. Intrigued? Then come along to what is probably one of the most spectacular pyrotechnic displays in the southwest and join in the fun.
Tickets will be on sale from the end of September this year and are priced at £7.50 for adults and £3.00 for children under 12. Gates open at 6.30pm with the main attraction lighting up the sky at 7.30pm.

Austen's Women - Thursday 25th November 2010 - 7pm to midnight
It is a truth universally acknowledged that everyone loves a bit of drama. Add a good meal, handsomely dressed gentlefolk, an elegant dance, and you have the recipe for a perfect evening à la Jane Austen.
We will start the evening off with a fine dining hot buffet worthy of Pemberley, followed by the acclaimed one-woman-show "Austen's Women". Then we shall dance the night away.
Arrive: 6.30pm for 7pm start (welcome cocktails and a crackling log fire)
Showtime: 9.00pm - 10.15pm
Followed by dancing until midnight
If you require overnight accommodation we can provide this for an all-inclusive cost of £125.00 at Halswell including continental breakfast and based on two people sharing a room.

Autumn Wedding Fair - 11am-5pm Sunday 28th November 2010 (Free Admission)
This autumn we are planning the most comprehensive and stylish wedding show yet. Our preferred suppliers will be exhibiting their latest wares and services and be joined this season by The Body Shop at Home.
Six reception rooms packed full of interest, a mini-treatments room for the pamper deprived, hog roast offerings, Halswell's famous cocktail and a saucy chocolate girl offering samples from her tray come together to make this fair one to remember.
Nocturnal Wedding Fair - 'Twas the night before Christmas - Thursday 9th December 2010 - 6pm to 9pm
Wedding fairs at Halswell are always a memorable affair and no one would want to miss the chance of exploring this most magical of venues on a lovely autumnal day. However, if you want to complete the experience and see Halswell in all its glory then you have to come along to our renowned 'nocturnal' wedding fair on Thursday 9th November. The house and grounds will be lit up in fine Christmas style to welcome you and your friends and once inside you will see the unique offers and opportunities we have been working hard to bring you. Join us for a visually entrancing evening and along the way sup our famous Halswell cocktail or seasonal mulled wine and stroll around six bedecked reception rooms with their roaring log fires and sample the delights laid before you by our preferred suppliers.
Halswell has teamed up with the Body Shop to bring you some all-important pampering experiences. Sample some mini-treatments together with advice and information on further pamper sessions and see how far Halswell can cater for your every desire on the big day. At 8.30pm we have our now customary fireworks display which will show you just how well the grounds are suited to after dark entertainment and give you some ideas and tips of what you can do for your own celebration. Halswell after dark is a truly magically experience.come and join us on Thursday 9th December.
Glam & Glitter - New Year's Eve Party 2010
Halswell's now fabled New Year's Eve Party is currently booking. The theme this year is 'Glam and Glitter' and surely there can be no better backdrop to see out the old year and welcome in the new.
The evening's entertainment spans two floors with live cabaret, fun casino, ball room disco, sumptuous buffet and three bars. Midnight fireworks see out the old year and usher in 2011 with a bang.
Although tickets are not yet officially available, reservations are being taken. A large number of rooms have been pre-booked so if you want accommodation after you've partied yourself to a stand-still you better get a move on!
